Now as they thrive in a Neo-Victorian era while managing to salvage some remains of past technology, society has practically forgotten about the world beneath them. Perhaps Elizabeth Greenwood wasn't a lucky girl, with a dead mother at seventeen, an amputated arm, and no money to deal with it, but when she stumbles into the grip of the Princess of what is supposed to be a deserted kingdom while trying to pay her debts, all she knows about herself, her mother, and her life is ripped to shreds.
