I didn't ask to be thrown into the plot of some fantastical story. It just kinda...happened. Well, I don't really see any way I could've possibly avoided it while living in a world where animals in human form are common and everyday sights. Not to mention that 'spirits' from some 'classified realm' are a very real issue facing the military that oppresses my faction. Hell, the worst part of it all was falling in love with one of the outlawed wolves and suddenly being surrounded by them!
I guess I shouldn't have hung around with a normal ol' human until he got mixed up in the world of me and my kind. I feel pretty bad about getting him involved, but he still says that all this was gonna happen anyways whether or not he'd saved me. Maybe it was because of the mystical otaku (yeah, you heard me right) who walked in our dreams, or maybe it was because of something far more sinister returning to our world from some alternate realm. I can't say for sure, but I'm sure it has something to do with me.

I woke up in the strangest situation ever, wearing nothing but a thin strap nightdress and standing in the middle of what looked like a prehistoric jungle.
