The Path of a Nameless God

When a god is born and given no name, how is she to live? One day, she attaches herself to a young boy on the streets who notices her and gives her the name "Akami," written with the characters for "red" and "beautiful." The boy, having given her a name, allows her to stay in his home. However, one day, the boy is slaughtered by a bloodthirsty yokai and forced to become Akami's familiar in order to keep on living. This is the strange story of a god who was born without a name and a human familiar with no experience.
