Just a naive 10-year-old enjoying what life threw at her. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But I didn't. I longed for more. With my lemons, I wanted lemonade, lemon cake, lemon pie, honey and lemon juice, lemon tea, and even lemon water!" I guess now I can't have any of that anymore, right? I messed up big time, and I'll bear the consequences for it all. I just have one wish though... It's as though I'd have been better off never entering this world in the first place.Complete

The world is ending and I have unlimited supplies
They said the world was ending, but it didn't start with fire or war. It began with a storm-just like any other. But this time, it didn't stop. The rain fell for days, then weeks, and then came the flood that drowned everything. When the sun finally broke through the clouds, people thought it was over. They thought it was hope. But that hope was a lie. The sun scorched the land. Insects bred in the rotting water. Plague spread like wildfire. Water became scarce, food even scarcer. They said Mother Earth was angry, and I believed them. I did everything to survive. Even if it meant relying on a filthy, twisted man for bread. He preyed on girls like me-young, desperate, orphaned. He fed us, clothed us, and in return, demanded we sell our bodies. He called it "the price of protection." Men came to us like vultures. They stripped away our innocence and left us hollow. And then, one winter night, starving people stormed our hideout. They came with knives and desperation. I threw myself in front of the youngest girl when one lunged to stab her. I took the blade meant for her. As my body went cold, I felt no fear. Just peace. Finally, I thought. This nightmare is over. But when I opened my eyes again... I was in my bed. Warm. Dry. Dressed in pajamas. It hadn't been a nightmare. It had been real. And now, it's happening all over again. But this time, I won't be weak. This time, I won't be used. This time... I'll survive. No matter the cost.
Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... Once upon a time, there was a young boy who experienced constant pain. The only person who truly stayed by his side was Kallie, his sister. She was his everything. His life, his family, his best friend...his world. Then humanity had to take her away and wreck his perfect, peaceful life. As if it was not enough humans were the source of all his pain and suffering he experienced throughout his life, and the reason for all his scars and symbols, they took away the only person he cared about. Well, enough was enough. He tried leaving humanity alone. He tried living a peaceful life away from all the fighting. It was all he wanted; to live a peaceful life with his sister, but humanity would not allow him that. So, if battling was the only thing humans throughout history understood, then he would bring them a war. So now, he has a new goal. Peace treaties are made between humans but they never last. War, however, forces the loser to obey no matter what for however long the winner decides. If humanity-the entire world-only submitted to the strongest then he would dominate them all. Only he would be the strongest, allowing no other person to even come close to his power. He would burn the world down to its very foundation, eradicating everyone who stands in his way, and rebuild it anew. The new world would be transformed into what he could never have. A fair and just world, devoid of all sins, where everyone can live a peaceful life without the constant worry of what could hurt them next. New laws will be placed while the old ones are removed. All evil will be purged from the world. Any who stand in his way will be turned to ash to help build his world. If the world wanted him to be evil so badly...then he would be a malicious tyrant that rules not with an iron fist, but a diamond one. Of course, there will be many who will fight back. However, there is only one person who even has a chance at winning...and she only cares about her little sunshine.Complete
I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy
CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy.
