"I hate you" he mimicked. I groaned in frustration.
"If you wanted me you just had to say. You didn't have to make sexual noises" he said biting his lip.
"Eww! I wouldn't..- I don't want...- Just shut up!" I shouted
"Ha, see I knew you wanted me" he said smirking, pushing me against the lockers.
"You wish" I said right before he smacked his lips against mine.
You may think this is an average love story, but it's not! Audrey, the cheerleader hates Jacob the king of his school, aka the Quarter Back. Do you think these two will actually fall for each other? Or will they just keep playing a little game that may or may not hurt them both?

It's Complicated
Senior year of high school. An already emotionally charged year thinking about possibly going to different states as your best friend for college, getting into college, learning about your friends secrets, and trying to bring up your absolutely terrible grade. So what happens when you end up falling for two of your best friends at the same time? It's been just Audrey and her mom since she was 7 and her dad left. Through the years, they've surrounded themselves with a group of supportive best friends. But after a sly comment from one of Audrey's girl friends, she starts looking at her best friend as something way more than just that. But deep down, why does she also have feelings for the Football Captain? One man she's known since she was born. He challenges her, irks her, and somehow she can't live without him. The other one: the boy next door. Best friends since he move in during 3rd grade. The sweet guy, always there for her when she needs him. Oh, and the two guys have hated each other since middle school. This story is fun to read with twists and turns. It focuses on friendship, love, what family can look like for different people, and how to keep going after loss and abuse. I feel the breath of air on the back of my neck. My limbs freeze and my breath catches in my throat. The male hands grab me by the hips. I can't move. His lips are by my ear, grazing the skin, his teeth tugging on my earlobe. His breath is hot on my skin, his lips moving down to my neck. My head tilts slightly. I shake my head. He doesn't have a weapon, I do. I turn in his grip, raising my bat. He catches the swing with one hand. He doesn't even flinch. "I wouldn't do that baby." His voice is like velvet, filling up the room. His lips are back on my neck, his tongue trails over the skin. The voice, the lips, are familiar. "You might mess up my pretty face." "Pretty face, my ass." I let the bat drop to the floor in-between the two of us. I should've known. "What are you doing here?" "Besides scaring you shitless?"
