At work Amber cares for the sick and injured. All the patients love her, being that Amber's such a loving and nurturing woman she loves her job. She enjoys interacting with the patients, especially the children. She most of all loves when her once sick patients come back as healthy as can be to thank her. When Amber goes home she's abused verbally, physically, and emotionally by her boyfriend Keith. She won't leave because he needs her. Keith makes sure to tell her that after he bruises her and she tries to get away.
When Jacquees mother has a heart attack she was rushed to the hospital. While she's there Jacquees makes sure his mother is never alone. While she's recovering form her heart attack Amber is her nurse she took a liking to Amber which made Jaquees happy. Obviously Amber and Jaquees see a lot of each other. What kind bond will form between these two? Will they develop feelings? Or will Amber keep it professional?

She knows what she doing is wrong, and she shouldn't do that, but she is not in control of her emotions, and it is quite the opposite. She feels she needs to see him and to talk to him. And while she waits, all kinds of thoughts are going through her head: "I have a feeling he is seeing someone. I don't want to think about what I'm gonna do to him!" and shortly after: "Maybe I should just leave before he sees me? No! I can't. When you are rolling off a cliff you just can't stop. I guess you need to feel the bottom. The only problem - you don't know where that bottom is." And she is trying to analyze how is it that she got attached to him so quickly and so strongly: "What has he done to me? Is it some kind of a spell? How could I get so attached to him so soon?
