"Maybe you were supposed to forget your responsibilities for a second. Maybe you were supposed to hold a conversation with that stranger just a little longer. But if something was supposed to happen between the two of you, you will never know. Hundreds of missed connections a day. It's almost insignificant. And, I know that heartbreak is sad. When an overwhelming love has to come to an end, it's tragic. But there's something just as tragic about a love that never has the chance to begin." -Unknown A small moment outside of a coffee shop that lead to a missed connection. We were the perfect match, maybe that's why we burnt out. Three years ago they had first met. Lacey had become obsessed with him, then soon enough they became friends. It was super cliche but she thought she was in love with him. One day he left her. She was an insecure young little girl when he left her but, three years can really change someone. Gone was that girl who was breathless every time he stepped into a room. In came the girl who if you crossed her you would consider yourself dead. With a sudden move away, Noah finds out where that girl that he once knew was hiding away. He tries to get her to open up, pretending all was good but soon he finds out he's playing with fire and if he keeps prying he'll get burnt.
