It is the year of our lord 1703 and war is brewing in the Bahama's. Nassau, port of New Providence, has declared independence, throwing off the burdening yolk of England to pledge itself to the soldiers of fortune.
But as the English crown redoubles its efforts to take back New Providence, the divided pirate lords of the island see not but ill fortune written in the waves and the prospects of Nassau grows ever more ominous.
The fate of the colony of thieves rests in the balance as cannon thunders, statesmen plot, and assassins hunger. Will the soldiers of fortune fall before the English scythe? Or will they unite under one captain, and fly the colors high?

At least it used to be before she disappeared for a decade. Her mother being a fallen Pirate Lord, her father being a fallen Commodore left her an orphan at the age of 17. That didn't slow her down. She made a name for herself in her ruthlessness, saving no mercy for any gender or rank. Along her life she got herself into a spat with Davy Jones on the seas, interfering with souls he was trying to collect by force. She said it was an imbalance to the natural order but he in turn nearly killed her..Tia Dorma nursed her back to health when she found Jessica washed up on the shores of her island. Her entire crew had been killed and she was left barely alive. So Tia Dorma decided to held her in exchange for her beating heart. Jessica didn't understand at the time, and claimed she had no use for it so she could happily take it. Everyone she ever cared about was dead anyways so what did she need it for? However, Tia said there was much about a human heart that she had yet to lean and she would only give the heart back once it heals and Jessica could "properly utilize it" whatever the hell that meant.. Until then Tia would put a spell on Jessica. She couldn't die until something in Jessica stirred that cold heart of hers..read to see more!
