Moving on from the war isn't easy, especially when Katniss still revisits her greatest fears and worst memories every night. But Peeta is always there, keeping the nightmares away, keeping her safe. However, though the world is changed, it will never truly be safe. ➳➳➳ The years following the war. Post canon, basically what leads to the epilogue. CW: Mild sexual content, violence, death, pregnancy, panic attacks PSA, there will be canon divergence, and the later books will get pretty dark. Also, I wrote this when I was thirteen or fourteen, so even though it's edited, it might not be good.
