The world is at war. Not surprised. History shows the world is a war.
The stories new generations hear from their grandparents are just that, stories. Perhaps they were true at one point in time, but now the only reality clinging on Earth is pure tears of grief and memories of what the world used to be.
A girl named Laura and her friends meet two boys who offer information about their sick childhoods and the group who watched them grow; a group that has no compassion for human kind. Laura and her friends are determined to fight for the world their ancestors once knew, the world Laura's parents died fighting for. Will they be able to bring peace to the broken Earth? Because everyone else has died on the attempt.
