It's deceiving to look up in the night sky and see what you think are stars - thousands of giant balls of gas, their light penetrating the darkness of the universe.
Because those aren't stars. Those are satellites. Wishing on a star? Not really. Wishing on a satellite? Exactly.
For every wish, an agent is assigned to make it come true - like a secret fairy godmother, except without the wings. Whether it really does come true, however, remains to be seen for each wish.

Moon Wish
When I was little, I believed in magic, the kind with an enchanted fairy godmother and the power of making wishes. These beliefs began to wither with every unanswered wish. They disappeared completely when I made my final wish, a moon wish. The black cloud that has followed me since that day has only gotten thicker and darker over the years; it's so dense that it is starting to obscure everything. I can't see the sky at all. It's been so long since I've seen any light, I've forgotten what it felt like to walk in it. Lost in the dark, an accident brings me a glimmer of it. To appreciate the light, you have to endure the dark.

Soon after everyone is asleep, he has the urge to murder Venus, to which he almost succeeds before wussing out. He then meets his imaginary companion. Mercury then murders with the his friends persuasion. Then again with the voices persuasion. His sanity becomes more dull as time passes. He's finally mustered up the courage to defend himself.
