If there were any words to describe Jace Essen, it would be these three.
Self-absorbed.
Arrogant.
Bratty.
He was the only child of a wealthy fashion designer and a (more) wealthy investor.
He was the golden boy when he was younger, but as he got older, his parents left him behind more and more often by himself. When he gets in trouble at school one too many times, his parents decide he needs a change of scenery, he is sent off to an aunt he doesn't even know he was related to for the summer. And it is there that he meets someone he thought he would never meet.

Jubilee Tanish is sick and tired of her small town. She is the middle of 7 kids, and she wants to leave this small town, at least for a little while. After months of begging and asking, her parents say she can go visit a family friend who lives on the coast of Maine, far from her native Utah.
But when she arrives there to spend the summer, to say she was shocked to find someone already there would be an understatement.
