There's a strange new virus spreading around the world. Well they assume it's a virus, nobody really knows what it is, but they all know what it does. Or so they thought the virus changes whatever it infects turning them into psychotic killers that'll attack anything that moves and with humans with anything they can use as a weapon known as berserkers. But it also mutates them giving sickle shaped talons and needle like fangs. Motorways are practically blocked as most try to escape to the country side but there's to many and most are already infected.

Stuart Paul Hunter is not a normal 16 year old, quite and distant with a hard past. As the virus reaches it's rage stage as it's been called in his town it's almost deserted as most have fled to the country side. But those that are left are still dangerous. Having to fight his way out of college with a group of survivors who have looked to him for safety and leadership he has to lead them through the town center to a safe place to hide, collecting more survivors along the way. Friends, family and strangers.

But he may have a new destiny. And nobody knows yet that those they kill, come back to hunt again.
