Winter Solstice

Scarlet is a 16 year old orphan skin-walker trapped within the boundary's of her pack where she is hated and shunned for reason sealed on the lips of the older pack members, and her best friend the light pack alpha male Riley.
Everything changes when Scarlet's hunting party is attacked by a monstrous black fog and she is forced to be the annual sacrifice to the dark pack.

"I was the last to leave the clearing that early due dampened morning, I should have felt the wrongness of the forest as I bolted into it, I should have been able to protect my friends, but how was I suppose to know that what has always protected us, this time became a death trap."
