Blake Carver has never been the outgoing type. Content to slip through school unnoticed, depending only on her best friend, Shiloh, for moral and hunter support, Blake is as close to invisible as one can achieve. Then again, her life outside of academics has never been quite so low key. Blake had been abducted at a young age by three individuals in masks, known as the Dread Doctors, and placed through grueling experimentation alongside the charming and at times psychotic Theo Raeken.

Now finding herself in the chaos of Beacon Hills, she is reunited with her overprotective brothers, Aiden and Ethan, and forced to maintain her new cover. Not only must Blake infiltrate Scott McCall's pack with Theo, but she has to gain Scott's trust and love without betraying her own intentions. Assuming they stay the same after spending time with the caring alpha, that is.
