Natalie Conners is Johnathan 'Johnny' Loughran's best friend. They've been friends since diapers, and Natalie goes with Johnny on all of his adventures. They've been all over the world ranging from the Pyramids of Egypt, where they found cursed objects and cool mummies, to trying to find the Lost City of Atlantis, which they almost made it to if it weren't for Johnny freaking out over seeing a large shark. This time, they're travelling through Transylvania where all the monster stories they've grown up on have originated from. Of course, who wouldn't follow the people who are on fire and seem to be completely immune to it? This brings them to the biggest castle they have ever seen.
