When Mabel Pines visits her great uncle Stanford, she's excited to meet an adult who will take her and her supernatural exploration seriously. After all, who better to believe her than a real supernatural researcher! She and her twin brother, Dipper, are more than ready to find magic in the Oregon forests around Ford's hometown.

So why won't Ford take them on adventures?

Determined, Mabel sets out to make her own discoveries - with or without her grumpy old uncle. When she finds a psychotic showgirl (with magical powers), a mysterious boy (also with magical powers), and a triangular demon (with probably the most perilous powers of all), Mabel realizes that Ford is right about at least one thing: In Gravity Rises, Oregon, you can find danger in the most unexpected places.

[This book is a paranormal fantasy that is also a fanfiction for Gravity Falls. However, it is in the fantasy genre because it is written to appeal to all fantasy fans, not just those who are familiar with Gravity Falls. The story is both self-contained and internally consistent.]

[This is the official story for the Gravity Rises AU. The original creator was Sorophora/nelauk, and it has since been adopted by me, Brightness Wings. I also made this cover myself using art by Sorophora. The plot and characters are mainly created by me, based on Gravity Falls and Sorophora's character designs/notes for Gravity Rises.]

But, some things aren't as easy as he had hoped. As the Pines and Bill are enemies, will Mabel Pines change the Demon's heart? Naturally Stan is a little strange since his memory was erased, but isn't it strange he got it back? Almost as if his mind wasn't completely destroyed. !!Finished!! Dipper has always been protective of Mabel. Its how siblings are, looking out for each other. However, recently Dipper has started acting way more protective, overprotective over her. Its starts to effect Mabel who is once again trying to find a boyfriend. However, she soon learns, Dipper was being overprotective of her for a reason. A 20 part story. With her strong demeanor and disturbing vibe, most kids were scared of her. On the outside, it seemed as if she didn't mind the kids being scared of her, but on the inside... she was lonely. Ever since her parents died seven years ago, she developed bipolar disorder, her Cantankerous made it worse, and most of all... she suffered from insanity. Going to therapy sessions and physiologists didn't really help. Taking certain medications didn't seem to do the trick either. She was very proud of how to mean and disturbing she was, but she couldn't stop it either. Until one day, a pair of twins showed up for the summer. Dipper and Mabel Pines. Mabel was a very fun-loving gal who seemed to see the good in everything. Robin sometimes questioned the young girl but tried to not let it bother her as well. Her brother, Dipper, on the other hand, was a complete opposite. He was super nerdy, awkward, and seemed to be interested in all things paranormal. Once they gave each other chances of becoming friends, it became something more... (Since she has bipolar disorder, one moment she'll act like Dipper, then she'll be acting like Mabel and or herself; aggressive and rude.) WARNING: MILD SWEARING FROM ROBIN!

After things get out of hand and someone gets hurt Dipper decides to get revenge on Pacifica. As Dipper's seed of hope for Pacifica to rise above her past begins to wither so does part of Dipper's heart. Ford has discovered a way to stabilize the portal temporarily. They must find the five relics dispersed through various dangerous dimensions and unite them with the portal. Just when all hope seems lost for Pacifica things take an unexpected turn of events. Even after everything that has happened Dipper finds the seed of hope is still breaking ground as it pushes up through the pain, regret, and sorrow. Slowly Dipper starts to rebuild the burned bridges finding his way back to the girl that just needed someone to believe in her.
