Moving into the new house was a change, especially without any parents. Finally being 18, Averi and Mallory finally feel the freedom of living alone.

The two best friends move into their new house in Melbourne, Australia, excited about their decisions. But as home-sickness starts kicking in, the girls start to regret it at all.

They have no clue who any of their neighbors are, they're never home when the girls are, or vice-versa. All they know is on their left, is a grumpy old man, and on the right, some loud, very loud, kids.

But when summer comes around and they finally have some free time off from school, their paths cross with their new neighbors.

Averi still has problems trusting men, from going through a tramatic encounter, and Mallory isn't sure if she is ready for another relationship, after her harsh breakup with previous boyfriend, Joel.
