Have you ever heard the saying 'High school is hell?' You may think that a normal high school is bad, but let me tell you, Demon High, as we demons call it; is the true winner of that description.

Before I tell you my story about how I came to be in Demon High, let me tell you about myself. My name is Ariel Rei Nahimana, and I am 16 years old. I have ebony black hair, and people say my eyes sparkle like a mountain-fed stream.

In the short space of two nights, everything goes awry for Ariel. After falling ill with a strange bug, and  waking up the next day feeling more than fine, Ariel knows something is really, really wrong.
