 Krista caught Deaths attention when she was only 15 when she ran from a dark house and onto the train tracks when a train was coming. He saved her. She tried again but in front of a car a couple months later. He saved her again. She turned 16 and took a bottle of pills. He saved her yet again. 

    "Why won't you let me die!" She cried, covering her pale face.

Don't worry, Red Queen is being worked on too, but sometimes you just need to purge yourself of a story to be able to continue on with another.
