What is the meaning of life? What is the point of living? Why should you value your life? This poem is meant for people to ponder just what their life means to them. The life of a man, when he starts as a boy, is undeniably precious. A boy will believe the best of everything in the world, and believe that they can face anything and everything. Their belief is so potent, so all consuming, that it's breathtaking. As a teen, they are more mature and are entering the real world, a world where not everything is as good and as easy as they once believed. As they grow older into young adults, young men, they want something to do, something to fight for. They enter a stage where they want to fight a good fight, win their love, and build a family. They will face many hardships along this path, and nothing will always go their way. But in the end, through perseverance, they can stride and achieve. "Life's a journey, not a destination." ----Ralph Emerson
