Valentine Day Williams, is a nineteen year old with a deadbeat father who gambles away all of their money and a stepmother who only wants her to marry rich. Her father's gambling failures always make trouble,causing him to be chased by gangsters and thugs. Because she can't afford college tuition, she temporarily stops attending college, and begins looking for jobs. One day, after a failed interview she goes out with some friends, has some drinks and she accidentally tazes a street musician named Lewis Riley with her lipstick taser gun. After a series of unfortunate events, Lewis stays at her families house for a while. A few days later her father returns and proposes that she marry a gangster to pay off their debts. She refuses, and pretends to have already married Lewis. Instead of accepting that, the gangster proposes a deal: spend 100 days with both of them and afterwards, she can decide who she wants to marry. Until the 100 days is up, Valentine has to keep up her act of being married and Lewis has to hold up his end as well...
