As a black dog walked across the camp, a ginger long haired dog looked at him surprised "Well,what a surprise Jet" The dog smirked. "Thorn shutup I don't care what you say!" He growled, he walked toward a pile where moldy prey lay. Jet dropped his rabbit in the pile. He heard a bark beside him and looked. A grey she-dog with dark yellow eyes smiled at Jet "hello Jet, glad you could catch some food, winter is coming!" She whimpered in fear as a purple light flashed in the sky. He nodded walking away as all the dogs hid in their dens as thunder cracked through the sky. Thorn jumped off a jagged large rock and ran into his den. Jet noticed that a storm was coming. He hid in his own den, dirt splashing his face as skid to a stop. Jet huddled at the back of his den when rain patted at the roof of his den. He whimpered when thunder boomed the sky. As the storm kept on going Jet fell asleep. He woke up as barking and growling could be heard outside of his den...

I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms. I extended them too high for they have hit the glittery dream catcher hanging on the headboard of my bed. The said item dropped on my face. "Argh, get off me." I removed the dream catcher from my face and sat up on my bed. I turned my gaze to the clock on the side table; it was 7:15. "Ugh," I moaned. "it's too early." I closed my eyes and tried to sleep again. A few minutes passed until somebody knocked on the door. "Marie," said the person who knocked on the door. "Let's go already!" Shoot, I forgot. No wonder I woke up so early. I quickly rose to my feet and rushed to the bathroom. "Marie! Are you even awake?" I didn't respond just yet because I was in the shower. A few moments later, the same person knocked on my door. "I've got the keys, Marie," she said. I could hear her shaking the keys outside my door. "You can't stay asleep forever!" Hurriedly, I placed on my blue blouse and pants. I grabbed the brush from the bathroom and started to comb my dark brown hair. Rushing to the door, I opened it to see my friend Ranie Accendo. I eyed her gray blazer over her white shirt, pants, and boots. "What took you so long?" she asked. "Nevermind that." I shook my hand dismissively. "Where are we going? If it's not important, I'm going back to bed." "To the forest." "The forest? Why?" "My daughter, will never be in charge of this pack, so get that idea out of your head" I'm absolutely gob smacked, I decide to put the earlier idea from my head into words to see what reaction I would get. With a slight raise in my voice, I put my point across. "And whys that? If Tim wasn't born, I would be next in line for the Alpha's place" "I would give the title over to my brother, our Beta. I looked at the eyes and a hand grabbed mine, pulling me off in a different direction. This isn't the best way to meet someone but what happens when they see more of each other? The whirling snow dies down slightly, and I realise I'm in the heart of the storm. How had I survived? I glance down at the thick fur covering my legs. Well, maybe I just don't give my pelt enough credit. And then I see it. The Blizzard fox! Its brush is fluffed up, and its sharp crystal eyes stare straight at me. With one last glance at me, it turns and trots deeper into the storm. I follow it, my breath coming out in freezing puffs of air. As I near the fox, I notice it's standing there and watching me inquisitively. "Who are you?" I ask, but it doesn't make a sound. The fox is standing underneath an icy overhanging, and a flickering light glows dimly from inside a cave. The Blizzard fox tilts its head at me curiously, and then pads down the tunnel. A villain from the past. A sinister fox. A complex heritage. Fall doesn't know what she's in for when she goes on a quest to uncover the true identity of the foxes' hero, Grox.
