15 year old Sia Parris lives in Miami, right next to Haulover Beach. She has always lived near the beach and loves it, all the shells, the sand, the wild life, and the ocean.
One day Sia and her younger sister ,Faythe and her mini Dachshund, Muffy. Are walking along the beach, sand in shoes, a bucket of shells un one hand a yummy toffee icecream in the other. When suddenly Cameron Fray bangs into her, her icecream now out of her grip and in mid-air, her bucket of shells scattered across the salty sand, and a scared little Muffy running for her life across Hauliver's sandy beach....

I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. "The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. "It's just- there's something about the moon that's ethereal. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's a constant in life. You can't always see it, but you have to trust that it's out there somewhere. And when you can see it, it's all bright and shiny and overcomes the darkness." I paused, searching for the right words.
