(Y/n) (Y/l/n), can't think of life without this Time Lord, and promises to never leave. But travelling with the Doctor is never the safest thing. (I do not own Doctor Who, I give credit to the writers of Doctor who, I only own (Y/n's) character.) Warning: deaths Will be following along with the episode. ((This fic is based at the very end of Tenth's life, starting right before he would have returned to the Planet of the Ood to kickstart events of the finale. I wanted to play around with the concept of a companion who isn't really a companion, but rather a traveller of sorts with their own set of rules and ways of travel, and on equal(ish) footing with the Time Lord rather than an ordinary human. Yes there's a healthy dose of complicated/doomed romance because I'm a sucker for writing romance. I think it's fun. My favourite incarnation of the Doctor is perfect for that if I manage to pull it off. This is also the start of my take on the scrapped TimeLord Victorious plot line and the scenic route to get to that outcome. There are also subtle crossovers to Primeval and various other franchises.)) (This is just me being a silly fan and wiritng stories I either shelved or tossed reimagined as Doctor Who episodes featuring my favourite era of the show and my own OCs and lore. Join the Doctors, his most popular companions, and two surprise guests as they unravel the mystery of the Menagerie! This was fun to write, as I have been a fan of Doctor Who since I was nine years old during the Tom Baker era. I studied hard to try to capture each Doctor's personality as they speak and interact, although I do admit that having a cast of 28 causes several characters to get lost within the dialogue. I made this as canonically correct as possible, pulling each Doctor and his corresponding companion from episodes to make this possible, but if you catch me in an error... I claim AU! Ha ha. It is for all intents and purposes a Capaldi episode, within his first season, long before Face the Raven. This is a Doctor Who fanfic for superfans only, as the entire first section only describes each Doctor by his attire, so you have to guess which is which by their apparel and companions. If you aren't familiar with each and every Doctor, this story will get very confusing. That being said, I hope you enjoy!
