Is it possible for the dead to remember how they came to be deceased?
Miles has been dead far longer than he can remember, unable to even recall his previous life. Being attached, or having an attachment, to a living host can have its pros and its cons, especially if the host can hear and see the dead; the afterlife isn't so lonely.
Bits and pieces of his previous life slowly start coming back to the entity, and Miles quickly learns that his death was no accident. With the help of his living host, the two, along with others, will go through hell and back to solve a mystery that has been buried for too long.
Though, it won't be just the living that they'll have to worry about along the journey.

The Long Walk Home

21 partes Concluida Contenido adulto

IT lets go of me, my head hits the ground again, no sound echos this time. IT's mouth movies, but my ears ring, so I can't hear IT. Everything is blurry and movies too much. I can't focus on anything. IT looks at me, IT's eyes are all gray. IT smirks and stands all of the way up, towering over me. I pull myself up and wobble away from IT on unsteady feet. I look back to see IT laughing, watching me walk away. I can't hear her terrible laughter, and I don't want... to... I fall over, feeling woozy. My head spins and I sway as I try to stand. I look back again, to see that the fog has covered my path, and I can only see a couple of inches away from my face. I blow out air and fall over. * * * * 13 year old Colten, takes a shortcut through the field next to his house on his way home. But why can't he reach his destination?
