Memory wipes

Cassandra or Cassie lifted her head up, she lay on a metal table surrounded by gnarly looking lab workers leaning over her. One of the lab workers leaned over her and said, "she's perfect." His breath smelt like sulfur and his eyes turned black and he said, "time for her memory to be wiped."

The world has became a barren land filled with misery, poverty, and murder. Cassie Deveroe is one of the unlucky chosen of the rebels. Forgetting her past as a revolutionary she finds herself clueless. Unlikely to live like the others people ignore her except for the sole people that were raised together. Will she be able to restore her memory or will she die in the process?
