This is a story about Nagate Tanikaze. He was born in 3023. Over the past century, humans have ventured out into space, far into the cosmos. And over time we always thought earth would be home...but we were wrong...and we had to leave to survive or die with our world. 15 years after earth, in a desperate hope to save both the human race and his universe nagate's last hope is the titan.

A family of five lives in the far reaches of outer space on a mining station built by their father. Their lives are simple and their ambitions small but that all changed when they find an ancient ship deep in a nebula.

A collaborative project co-ordinated by me over Facebook, based on an original idea by me. The shared universe centres around the idea that in a future where the human race has expanded out into the universe, they find no signs of intelligent alien life. Each writer for this series is contributing one or two short stories, including myself. Please be aware that the versions of these stories that appear on this site are earlier drafts, and are not the version that will appear in the finished product. Any short story subtitled 'Volume One' appeared in the Volume One anthology, and any short story 'Shorts' has been published since as its own booklet.
