In 2018 the world enter into World War 3. No one remembers how it started. All anyone seems to remember were Screams, Blood and Death.
It is now 2066 and the world's population was decreasing rapidly. People were killing one another for food, clothes, anything that would seem to ensure their own survival. Order was needed or all hope would be lost.
The government decided to organized a group of soldiers to help tame the overwhelming violence that populated the world. Regular soldiers wouldn't do, for they were already tainted by the sins that ruled man.
That gave birth to the Halo Project. Soldiers were selected from birth. Raised in a secluded part of the world. Trained to fight and be loyal to ones country.
Weakness would be beat out of them.
They would feel no emotions.
Taught to only obey and establish order.
Nathaniel is the Halo Projects number one soldier. A merciless killing machine. He feels nothing. Pleading will get you nowhere with him. Disobedience will not be tolerated by him. Men, Women and even children will be taken in or killed by him if you break any law no more how small. He feels nothing.... Until he meets a loudmouthed, lewd shoplifter.

The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. 100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden.
