But not until an innocent cadet from Levi's team; Margo von Schwartz, disappeared without a clue. Her body cannot be found and one thing stayed on Levi's mind: she ran away because she knew that he would not accept and reciprocate her affection for him. However, along with Eren's revelation as a Titan-shifter, she mysteriously appeared from nowhere, but different from the Margo they knew, years ago.

Although her whereabouts for 2 years is in question, one can immediately smell something fishy with her comeback- that she is planning something. Be it good for humanity's welfare, she also sought for the extinction of the creatures that ruined her life and set her humanity ablaze. Now, desperate to reciprocate the wrong they did to her, be it humans or titans, her thirst for revenge is just as brooding and unpredictable, as she had promised herself that she would not stop seeking justice, and to bury the same people who buried her alive.

However, her love for her former Captain did not vanish amidst the fact that she deeply knew he did not love her as well. But that was until she sensed that he, too, knew deep inside that she had a special place on his heart, even before her transition as a Titan-slayer.
