"For god's sake, Clari," Jess huffs, "you can't keep falling in love with every boy you see! That's not how love works."

"I know, I know," I reassure her, "trust me, I'm trying to change my ways, but it's hard. And besides, I kinda....met someone."

Jess throws her arms up in the air, exasperated.
