He had the skin of a drow, but the most beautiful shade of ginger hair. It was obvious that people thought he was a drowman - all those looks, stares...But he didn't care. He was so caring and kind to me - all the drows I had read about weren't. So the rumours were fake.

My mother and father faithfully served Sepulchure all their lives. I was going to do the same, because of tradition. Maybe if I broke the rules, I probably would've been able to be by his side. When I realised he was joining with Alteon, I didn't know what to say. We would be separated for the rest of our lives, doomed to never to meet again.

The last time I saw him....
When I realised I would see him again, my fate had been locked into place.
My mind was under their control.

I was forced to do their bidding...forever.

Embrace the mystery, discover more. "I would sacrifice pieces of my flesh and still be considered selfish for not giving my bones." I spit at the annoyingly handsome man in front of me, he runs both his hands over his face into his light brown hair narrowly missing the small horns that curl out of his head before looking up at me in disappointment. "Would it be your choice whether the skin is taken off of you.. or your lowlife fathers who I saved you from?" He snickers, rage rolling off of me in waves as he smirks up at me knowing he has hit a weak spot. This man may have saved me but it is time for me to save myself and this kingdom. An infant was left by the bank of the river for the floods predicted for the following night to wash her away. Until a beautiful woman taking an evening stroll heard her cries and found her all bundled up in a black blanket and when she opened her big beautiful purple eyes the woman gasped in shock. Knowing she had found something special she took the babe and ran home to her loving husband. He immediately fell in love with the child, naming her Penelope, both watching as the child grew happily but never taking her out of the premises so no one would question them about her eyes. Until Penelopes sixteenth birthday everything was perfect, that day her mother fell ill and passed within the next fortnight after her heart couldn't handle the sickness anymore. The last thing she told her husband was, "Protect her from them, for they will come for her." Penelope heard his cries of despair ringing throughout the house almost muffled by her own, for she knew she wouldn't be able to go to her funeral, visit her grave, or even talk to her mothers friends to remember her in spirit. Months that passed turned into years and Penelopes father grew mean and cold, he tried to hold back till his breaking point reached and that would be the night where her world was turned completely upside down.
In The Wake Of Crows And Snakes by 0Rose0White0

Visions flashed before Y/n's eyes: a snake coiling to strike, a blinding green light from a wand, and the taste of ash burning her throat. Fear built up, making her tremble and whimper until... a black crow appeared. Its presence brought an unexpected calm, and as it let out a gentle 'caw,' a warm, soothing sensation spread through her. Y/n Claremont, known in the Wizarding world as a 'seer,' had always dismissed her prophetic dreams as mere superstition, convinced they were nothing more than vivid fancies. Her mother, however, had insisted otherwise. As she embarked on her Fourth year at Hogwarts with her best friends, the golden trio, she found her world increasingly intertwined with her visions. Amidst her struggles to reconcile her skepticism with the eerie accuracy of her dreams, Y/n's path crossed with Draco Malfoy. His arrogance and cold demeanor initially seemed to drive them apart, but there was a magnetic tension between them that neither could ignore. Despite his dismissive attitude toward Y/n's seer reputation, Draco's own hidden secrets began to intertwine with her visions. The more Y/n tried to keep him at a distance, the more she found herself drawn to the complexity beneath his icy facade. In moments of unexpected closeness, when their hands brushed or their eyes met with unspoken understanding, Y/n felt a flicker of something more-a tentative connection that defied the barriers of their differences. (I do not own Harry Potter or any of J.K. Rowling's original characters, plot points, or works. All rights are hers. This fan fiction and Y/n's journey are my own creation.)

~Book One Of The Sold To Series~ *UNEDITED* Sneak peek.......... "Yes, he's my son, please don't hurt him I'll do anything" he begged. Does my dad finally care about me? But why he gotta tell him I'm his son that now put me in more danger, dammit! "Anything?" the Greek god said once again scanning over my body before licking his lips. "Give me your son," he said smirking which causes his cute dimples to poke out dam- wait what did he say? "Mr. Dragon, Please anything but that" my dad pleaded. Of course, I love my dad and he loves me we just have a fucked up way of showing it but my dad would never give me to this sexy motherfucker. "I'll give you 2 million dollars," Mr. Dragon said I assume that's his surname since that's what my dad called him. "Really?" my dad asked is this dickhead bastard considering it, yes I finally said it and I don't regret it. I'm worth more than that considering I'm a virgin and have a big ass so it's gonna have to be more than that before I let that happen. "Sorry but-'' my dad was about to refuse the offer when he interrupted him with another offer. "4 Million dollars and considered all your debts paid," He said. My dad quickly got up and looked at me before looking back at Mr.Dragon. I know my father is not about to- "OK." my dad said. "Wait! Hold up Mister, I'm 18 which means I'm old enough to make my decision and my dad do not have a say in this!"I yelled. Causing all attention to myself which I quickly regretted. Mr. Dragon face lights up in amusement at what I just did. "Either that or you both die, simple," he says looking me in the eyes. ~ Featured @StoriesUndiscovered ~ I'm gasping for air trying to breathe. Which is hard when I have Dimitri's abnormally large hand around my throat and his eyes are glowing purple and his fangs have came out. I am on the verge of fucking passing out with tears welling up in my eyes. All this happened because Aphrodite told me to come in this forbidden room to get a formal dress and whatever jewelry I shall need for the ball that is coming up. I had ran my hands over all the gorgeous gowns in this room before deciding on a red chiffon cinderella ball gown that had this gorgeous sweetheart neckline. I tried to find the jewelry she had mentioned when I spotted a small wooden jewelry box with their family crest on it. I had opened the box to find 4 rings. Two larger ones and two smaller ones. All four had their family crest on it with a ruby in the center of the rings. Dimitri had walked by the opened door and saw me looking in the box. And this is how I have ended up with his hand tight around my throat. Slam "I told you never to come in this room!" Dimitri roared. His hand is slowly tightening around my throat. It's getting harder to try to get out of his hold. "I.." He interrupted me. "You what!?" He yells. "Can't." I couldn't finish my sentence. "I can't hear you!" He growls low and dangerous. "Breathe!" I struggle to get out. Slam!! My skull echoed throughout the room for the 4th time. My head has bounced off the wall. Oxygen is slowly leaving my body and I can barely hold on. I'm going to die in his hand if he doesn't move it. My tears are now falling down my face and hitting the floor by my bare feet. "If I ever see you in here again I will..." He never got to finish his sentence because Orion has tackled his brother off me. "What the hell Dim! You could have killed her. She's fucking human you idiot, you cannot go Hulk on her. You will kill her!" Orion yells as loud as he possibly could. I swear my eardrums will pop. "..... Mate."

To save the world, I must choose a side. But there are so many worlds, which one should I save and which should I leave? The dragon tribe seems like the wisest rulers, but then again, there is always that one person greedy for power. The vampires, more like the race standing in the middle of the war between the dragon tribe and my kind, humans, have no choice but to side with their creator, Elia, the goddess of chaos. Humans are the lowest in the chain of power, but, we have a god that is willing to defend us. Whether it is genuine or it is to amend his mistake, I'll never know. What I do know is that this god, Draco, is nothing like any mortal man. From his virgin white hair with two horns protruding from his head, to the purple eyes, I knew he was special. Little by little, I'm drawn to his aura and sucked inside his cage of power. Power he has no problem sharing with me, a mere mortal. ***Extract*** Time is unnoticed in here. All there is, is...light, and these forsaken chains trapping me in here. Aries is a brilliant mortal, but can she handle the task of releasing me from this prison? The time I've spent with her might have created a bond between us, even though to her I was Dajos, pf! I always thought the name sounded cheeky, but, it represented her love for her human friends. These friends of hers, I'm sure they're in the underworld living out the rest of their afterlife there. Maybe when I'm restored to all my powers I can arrange a meeting for Aries to see her friends. Dajos! I huff. It sounds much better coming from her lips.
