They said it unites us.

They said it determines our destiny.

They said it's protection.

They said that it's a choice.

But they didn't say that they already made the choice.

And the Choice was always theirs.

____

Ever since Mac's mother disappeared 7 years ago she's been doubting everything that has to do with Shadow Town. For generations her family have been the loyal citizens of the O.D.O.T, and it's expected that she keeps the tradition going. The tattoo is placed on your wrist and the symbol on it determines you're future, you're life, you're calling. But when a mysterious boy with green eyes, a lost box of letters, and a magic ring end up at her doorstep she starts to doubt the marking. She starts suspecting that the high walls that surround them arn't just for the protection but much more. And whatever hides behind them is something the O.D.O.T is afraid of.

ONE TEAM. ONE DREAM. They say.

If only they knew.

WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION There are imperfect moments in every life-but sometimes, there are perfect accidents . . . What's the point of pretending nothing has changed when everything has? It's the last summer before college, and Jonas Avery knows he should be excited. Instead, he hides out at home, avoiding his friends, his family, and everything that resembles his old life. Because nothing will be normal again-because of The Accident, when everything started falling apart. Brennan Davis knows she needs to stand up and face her anxiety-the deep, dark, debilitating dread that rules her everyday life. Because what stops her from going out into the world and just living is going to get a whole lot worse. She's leaving for college in the fall, where she'll be confronted with even more to worry about. To get back up sometimes you have to fall down, hard . . . When Jonas crashes into Brennan-in a harmless, albeit embarrassing fender bender-the two teens connect in ways they never expected. As friends, they help each other overcome their biggest falls and faults, and soon discover that while love can't fix everything, it's sometimes a place to start. Sensitive, wry, and unabashedly authentic, The Opposite of Falling Apart isn't about finding perfection in another person or fixing the things we think are broken. Instead, Micah Good has penned an enchantingly honest novel about accepting the very pieces of ourselves that make us unique, whole, and undeniably human.

In the uncomfortably not-so-distant future, the world has been ravaged by natural disasters, water shortages, and public apathy. People like Kai Gilling have flocked to the desert (once known as the American West) in hopes of finding a better life. After picking up a pair of siblings, the three come across a strange woman who claims to have a map to Arcadia, an urban legend rumored to be the only city thriving in the wreckage of the old world.
