There was no electricity, and there was no way for the storm Sirens to be sounding, yet they were. The entire Town was awake; everyone had a weapon. They had grabbed guns, knives, swords, and bats if they could be wielded and used for self-defense; Renee aimed her rifle at the trees, looking desperately for an explanation. Why would a siren sound? They only sounded when they were in Danger, so where was the Danger? When the predators revealed themselves, that was where the siren noise was coming from. Renee could feel her heart jump into her throat. Her face went pale; they were here. They had found the Town. Terror and panic soon swept Huntingtown; everyone knew what those monsters could do. After all, they did conquer the planet and impose the "choosing." Huntingtown was created hoping that its isolation in a cold climate would keep the Predators away, but it didn't. A voice came over those speakers. A male voice Gruff and laced with a growl. It was almost as if whoever was speaking was annoyed and angry. "Although I have enjoyed seeing your little Town outmaneuver many hunters. I am afraid this is where your little games end. However, I will give you a chance to keep your freedom. A hunt. You will be red by your best hunter, Renee Madison." Renee felt her blood go cold as she stared wide-eyed at the ship. She was unknowingly dropping her gun at the news. " she will be your leader; she will be my prize. You have a time advantage. Go!" The ship took off, looking for a place to land, all while the news sank into the Town's residence. Renee had known she had fucked up when she fired at one of those predators and hit him. She had proven herself worthy of the hunt. Now she has to face the consequences, not only her but her entire Town had to. Renee had to win this hunt; the fate of her Town depended on it.Complete

She fought as hard as she could, the icy waves crashed down upon her. Her bones were sore, her legs so tired of kicking, yet she never gave up. "So close" she thought as she swam towards a small boat, "im almost there" she said aloud. As if saying the words out loud would help her, for her they did. It gave her strength, she swam harder and faster untill she finally reached the small wooden boat. On the boat a group awaits for her, "cassi" one of the guys said excitingly "we didnt think you'd make it, thought we'd have to fish you out" he gave her a chuckle. The other boys laughed aswell "yeah well, i didnt want to become a popsicle, ya know?" he laughed even louder "none of us wanted to" their faces went cold. "Anyways, lets get you out of that water, welcome to the crew" the boys cheered. They pulled her out of the water, with a warm blanket they wrapped her, few gave her pats on the back. Her body was frozen and sore, proud that she made in, but tired .Complete

"Ah, your sister. Bay was it? After enough torture she told us everything we needed to know about your family, including that you swim at the beach every morning. That's how we knew where you were. "That's enough chit chat." A new voice stated, even deeper and scarier than this boy's. "Get your samples already." The boy nodded his head as he started working. Setting up his equipment. Soon he was ready. "What are you gonna do?" I ask with my shaky voice. He didn't answer just poured some water on my legs. Then the pain started. He was tearing off one of my scales. I screamed in pure agony. "Get at least five." The voice told the boy. And that's what he did. Later he would take my blood. All while I was strapped to a table.
