Crazy in Love

He tensed up, eyes filled with sadness.

"Why do I need to stay away from you?"

I paused. My fists were clenched tightly, the familiar feeling made everything look red. I looked up at the sky and smiled.

I turned around.

"Because I am absolutely fucking insane."

Murdering her boyfriend and the girl he cheated on her with maybe wasn't the best idea. And maybe running away from everything wasn't either.

Because moving to a new school halfway across the country with a new name and look, along with a stolen car, a way too understanding best friend and no plan was not the greatest idea Valerie has come up with.

She thinks everything's okay for now. Being the outcast at her high school is fine by her, if it means not getting attached to anyone and losing control of herself again.

And one day, the known "heartless monster" of Saffron High throws a dodgeball at her face.

Then all hell breaks lose.
