Flicker

Millions of years in the future when our sun dies, we build 18 artificial Suns around the globe to light and heat our dying world, but when the lights start to go out the world goes to chaos, frantically trying to leave the eclipsed zones. As the darkness starts to consume us all a small flicker of light can be seen in the expanding eternal night.
