Andrea "Andy" Harris is a 14 year old who keeps to herself and is best friends with Annabeth Chase. Andy lives in New York on her own and works part time at Jerry's, a run down auto shop.  She is known for her skills as a mechanic and for her temper. Everything changes for Andy one night when she is walking home to her apartment and is attacked by a Greek monster and Annabeth comes to her rescue. Annabeth tells Andy who she really is, a demigod, and convinces her to go to Camp Half-Blood. Once in CHB Andy makes it her mission to find out who her godly parent is and who she really is.
