Andrea "Andy" Harris is a 14 year old who keeps to herself and is best friends with Annabeth Chase. Andy lives in New York on her own and works part time at Jerry's, a run down auto shop. She is known for her skills as a mechanic and for her temper. Everything changes for Andy one night when she is walking home to her apartment and is attacked by a Greek monster and Annabeth comes to her rescue. Annabeth tells Andy who she really is, a demigod, and convinces her to go to Camp Half-Blood. Once in CHB Andy makes it her mission to find out who her godly parent is and who she really is. Along the way Andy meets Nico di Angleo, son of Hades, who might just prove everything she knows about love wrong.
