Everyone knows, knows of or is someone who has a sickness, and illness, a disadvantage- whatever you may call it ; be it small or large in the public eye. Though science explains it, or tries to anyway, will we ever really know what the causes are?
Well, you have the power to know by reading. I have the power to share this power through my storytelling.
To put it simply, ailments physical and mental can be the symptoms of the usage of magic or the signs of magic emerging. Things just got immensely more complicated, didn't it? It did. But don't fret, things are also getting much more interesting. I'll explain everything. Though it may be a bit bias, considering I WAS one of the few who got to witness -and experience- this occurrence firsthand.
I am Eilaze Underwood Ikeda. When you have a first and last name as strange as Eilaze and Ikeda, I guess the only appropriate middle name you can have next is something related to a tree. My name is not the only unusual thing about me. Would you like to know my story?

I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" A screen was floating in front of me. 「 Welcome, new adventurer! 」 "Adventur...rer?" But..... I'm so small! My body is the size of a 9 year old kid! And I don't even know what the hell happened to me. After I read some information on the screen, I was amazed that the world I was in was like a VRMMORPG. Magic exists and so does the level. "Huh?" When I look at my status, I'm not neither a mage that cast magic nor a swordsman that wields a sword, instead.... I'm a puppeteer! Will I survive in this new world despite knowing that I don't have a place to stay or food to eat? Note: This is more likely in Fantasy. Magic goes bruh broom brr. Amber's Apocalypse - A Travelogue Companion to This Is The Fall
April 22 I've been walking for days, they're still tracking me though. i sleep high in the trees, I double back, walk in the river, cover my tracks, start false trails...it's all slowing me down but it's really the only chance I have. I'm on foot. I'm alone. The day the grid went down I was in the mountains and I stayed put for over a month, unable to contact anyone. The electricity is out, the phones don't work, no running water, no cars, no radio...nothing. It's dangerous to go into towns now, survivors are scared, starving and dying by the thousands, but their bodies seem to just disappear. Sometimes I hear screams in the night that sound like they come straight from the depths of Hell, and the scent of sulphur and rot rides on the breeze when the heaviest clouds block out the sun. I think it's the thing that got Dan...the thing that's almost gotten me. Stronger than 1 but she doesn't turn into a giant monkey. She has better accuracy than 2.... Somehow.... But her weapon of choice would've bee a bow and arrow. She has 3's same power but she doesn't like to use it except to get what she wants and her sister's doesn't work on her. She can transform like 6 could. She can see him like 4. The only other one that can. He was always afraid of his power drowns it out by getting high. But they were kind of her only friends minus her brother and their more dangerous sister. 5 and her liked to race each other the only difference is, is that as smart as he is she's a better jumper. But she has the most in common with 7. They're both seen as too dangerous and her powers like her sister's are awaken and work because of their emotions. She's more dangerous though because she can mirror her siblings powers. She trained herself her dad never cared about her. He always cared about his non biological children more. And he only cared enough about them to train them but he didn't care about any of them. She was born the same day they were and the same age. She wasn't born the same way though. It was more like a science experiment. He gave a serum to get the one person he trusted to have her and made it timed to the day. Maybe that's why she has their same powers or why she's more dangerous. The only thing that ever worked on her was.... I'll tell you later. But none of them remember she has powers.Complete
