Adrien Agreste is a completely normal teenage boy, aside from the fact that he's not. His father is filthy rich, he's a model, and he's got a super secret identity: he's part of a two man super hero team, fighting to defend Paris from the evil villain Hawmoth, and his akumas. But despite how amazing this all sounds, Adrien is completely miserable. Without his mother's warm smile there to guide him, he's drowning in a pool of depression and self pity, his father standing on the edge and watching him as he gasps for breath. He'd be completely lost if it wasn't for his secret identity, and the girl hiding behind the red and black mask. As Chat Noir, he's allowed to do whatever the hell he wants. Re-invent himself, be happy, fall in love. And he has. He's desperately, hopelessly, madly in love, and it's the only thing keeping him going. But what happens when you lose the one thing you love?
