When the apocalyptic horsemen vanish from the underworld, all hell literally breaks loose. It is soon discovered that each of the four horsemen left behind a son before disappearing. When news of this discovery reaches the Dimico family, 14 year old Krissie is sent off to track down the horsemen's sons and turn them into knights.
Spencer, Shui, Ainsley, and Hassun are all naive boys trying to scrape by life and its challenges. When a strange girl appears on their doorsteps, they only get a glimpse of how screwed they really are.
Krissie's mission is short and simple; but will feelings bring complications? Or will the boys die before she gets a chance to train them for their destiny? More importantly, can the knights of the apocalypse save mankind from the grave danger that lurks in the shadows?
