All hope was lost. All of the pokemon were taken. All the poke balls. The nurse joys were forced to work for them.(By you know, the bad guys. I don't remember their names.) All of the pokemon left are the legendary pokemon. Ash, Dawn, and Brock are connected to the legendary lake pokemon. I am connected, or have a special bond with one of the legendary pokemon. We will need all the help for the resistance.
Just pretend this person has traveled with them for a while before this happened.
Basically what happened is that all of the pokemon have been stolen, but the only pokemon left are the legendary pokemon. But the only way to use them for the resistance is to create a special bond just like how Ash, Dawn, and Brock did with the lake pokemon. The main character has a connection, but she doesn't tell anyone about it.

After Ash's loss in the Kalos league finals, he comes home only to have his mother, Professor Oak, and his "friends" attempt to stop his dream, ending up driving him out of Pallet Town. Years later, after training in solitude with his 7 faithful pokemon, he meets Korrina and is back to prove himself in the evolution tournament. This is a short story, and just an enjoyable piece of shalourshipping. Note: I do not own Pokemon nor any of the characters appearing in this fanfic ^^. Timeline of Errors
The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo. And of course, there's only one thing they could be doing during that movie, teaming up with Ahsoka, Rex, and Bo-Katan to take back Mandalore from Maul and his forces. The Journey of A Champion: A Pokemon Fanfic
