Harry couldn't care less. He lived for the moment, not for the consequences of his actions, not for love or to please other people. There isn't anything he hadn't done, except for give someone his heart, that is.
Louis cared a little too much. He thought before he spoke, didn't spew his words into the void that was life itself. He wanted the people around him happy before he even thought of himself. He'd given too many his heart.
The only thing Harry and Louis have in common? They're both broken.
And that will lead them to cross paths.

Harry and Louis had a turbulent relationship from the start with many break-ups and hurt feelings but so much love. Louis's addiction to cocaine made Harry leave him once and for all. Today Louis is clean and is about to release his first album. His management makes him do a track-by-track where he's supposed to talk about the meaning behind the songs. Well, he can sum that up with one word, or person really; Harry. But of course, he can't say that, so he tries to be honest but very vague while he thinks about what the songs really mean and he hopes with every fiber in his body that Harry will listen to his album and find it in his heart to give him a second chance. I didn't feel like I could write the story they wanted me to but I asked them to send me one of the poems. The poem inspired me. ❤ So I suggested another concept of the story and they agreed. All the poems in the story are written by the talented @RANDOM28lol. Harry has lost his voice. He has been mute for years. Ever since his family was brutally murdered in their home. He suffers from PTSD and survivor's guilt. Thinking that not allowing himself to talk somehow honor the death of his family. It's a lonely life. He has no one to talk to. Doctors and therapists have given up on him. He writes poems as a way to express how he feels. He also writes at work. Running the gossip section of The Sun is something he despises but he's a journalist and he needs a job. No one tries to talk to him at work either. It's his own fault. But he hates how they go silent and then whisper about him as he enters the newsroom in the mornings. He keeps to himself. Until the new sports journalist catches his eye. Beautiful. Blue eyes. Wonderful smile. To his surprise, the man knows sign language and he's also determined to talk to him. Life as he knows it changes. It's scary. Will he be able to actually overcome his trauma? Louis had never wanted a relationship like this. Of course, he loved Harry - he loved the boy more than anything. And, at first, their relationship had been perfect. Harry was all gifts and hugs, small pecks on the lips, and amazing sex. But then, Harry had become possessive. Louis, at first, was flattered by how Harry wouldn't hesitate to but in when another bloke was talking to Louis, or how he would give someone a glare for eyeing Louis. Then it escalated. Louis didn't notice how bad it was getting until one night late at the club, when Harry had actually ended up knocking a guy out cold with a slam to the nose just for smacking Louis' bum. Harry worked at a subway station, wasting his life, too scared to follow his dreams. Every Thursday a girl with beautiful blue eyes took the 3.18 train. He always looked forward to seeing her. Maybe one that he would have built up the courage to ask her out? One Thursday a gang of teenagers knocked her off the platform and Harry immediately jumped the rail to rescue her. She hit her head and was unconscious. He followed her to the hospital and told them that he was her fiance. A little white lie could hurt, right? He just wanted to make sure she was okay. But then her whole family came and Harry found himself caught up in his lie. Her family was wonderful and he had been without his for so long. He just wanted to be a part of a family again even if it was just for a short while, at least until the girl woke up from her coma.
