Harry couldn't care less. He lived for the moment, not for the consequences of his actions, not for love or to please other people. There isn't anything he hadn't done, except for give someone his heart, that is.
Louis cared a little too much. He thought before he spoke, didn't spew his words into the void that was life itself. He wanted the people around him happy before he even thought of himself. He'd given too many his heart.
The only thing Harry and Louis have in common? They're both broken.
And that will lead them to cross paths.

@RANDOM28lol contacted me with a story idea where they asked if they could write the poems in the story. I didn't feel like I could write the story they wanted me to but I asked them to send me one of the poems. The poem inspired me. ❤ So I suggested another concept of the story and they agreed. All the poems in the story are written by the talented @RANDOM28lol. Harry has lost his voice. He has been mute for years. Ever since his family was brutally murdered in their home. He suffers from PTSD and survivor's guilt. Thinking that not allowing himself to talk somehow honor the death of his family. It's a lonely life. He has no one to talk to. Doctors and therapists have given up on him. He writes poems as a way to express how he feels. He also writes at work. Running the gossip section of The Sun is something he despises but he's a journalist and he needs a job. No one tries to talk to him at work either. It's his own fault. But he hates how they go silent and then whisper about him as he enters the newsroom in the mornings. He keeps to himself. Until the new sports journalist catches his eye. Beautiful. Blue eyes. Wonderful smile. To his surprise, the man knows sign language and he's also determined to talk to him. Life as he knows it changes. It's scary. Will he be able to actually overcome his trauma? @supu1224 pitched me this idea: What about a story named versions where they face struggles of life and how that changes them into different persons from who they were at the beginning but they still find home in each other? I had to try and write this, so this is Harry and Louis from the beginning to end with glimpses of their lives together. Purely fictional. Some smut. So @franzixidfc contacted me and asked if I couldn't write a book on her idea and this is the result. I tried to follow the basic storyline and added some myself. Harry and Louis were best friends when they were kids until Harry had to move away. Harry returned at the age 17 to his home town to live with his aunt. The kids in Ireland bullied him for the way he dressed. In his new school Harry noticed a loner that everyone called Tommo. There was something familiar with the boy but Harry doesn't make the connection at first. Instead he tried to befriend the boy because he knew how it felt to be alone but Tommo wasn't interested in making friends. Purely fictional. Triggerwarning: weed smokingAbgeschlossene Geschichte

All Harry wanted was to touch Louis' lips with his own but he couldn't, they had only known each other for a few days and the want and need to have each other was already there. The need to touch burned through their souls setting them alight that only a single touch would be able to put it off but that would never happen and it hurt, it hurt Louis knowing that he was slowly falling in love with a boy he could never have. Louis and Harry were changing, everyone could see it, you had to be blind not to. The fans, modest and the boys, they all knew that Harry and Louis were changing, and not for the better. Ever since that day a few years ago when Louis posted the bullshit tweet about Larry, Harry has been avoiding him. Louis tried to figure out why bu the older lad wouldn't tell him. He would simply just wave Louis away and tell him that he was fine. But he wasn't. Harry was slowly breaking inside. You see, Harry loved Louis, he still does. All that Larry stuff, it wasn't a joke to him, it was all real. In fact he was planning on telling Louis about his feeling that night, but after he read the tweet he knew that he couldn't. Louis had eventually given up on Harry and decided to spend more time with Eleanor, which in turn only hurt Harry more. Will Louis finally realize what he is doing to his former best friend?
