Raylee Drake hasn't been the same since her mother and father were thrown in jail for selling and using illegal drugs. Whats worse is that she and her brother had no other relatives, so they were forced into the foster system. After two years, the two were separated and forced into different foster homes. She has been moving around all over the state of Florida, trying to find someone who will adopt her, but honestly, who wants a 17 year old girl who has major stress issues and can barely control her anger?
There was something special about Raylee, though. She's... Different... She finds herself in yet another home, with yet another set of people. But, as she gets closer and closer to her new family, she starts to see their true colors, and starts to understand why she's been different for so long. Its because she's not normal. She's one of them, and her life seems to be getting better and better as the days pass. She starts fitting in, getting better in school, her attitude is improving, but what happens when something or someone shows up from her past, ruining everything?
Will Raylee's new family come to her rescue, or will she have to leave yet again in order to protect her and the ones she loves?
