Rebellion solves EVERYTHING.
King Robert Tresting rules over Eshk, one of the four great kingdoms. He has more than earned his hatred from people. But now, the common people are rising in rebellion and have arisen as another threat to his throne. He has no other choice but to call forward the mystical dark forces and enlist their help. But magic comes with a price. And magic as dark as the one he has invoked, costs more than he is willing to offer. What will the price cost him? His power? His life? His soul?
The people, united by a band of mages, are furious. They are demanding that Robert be removed as King. As if it was not enough, the god of sacrifice and ruler of purgatory, Moloch, has arrived back to the surface to cleanse the land of its 'impurities' and his target is Eshk.
