Another collection of poems from 8th-grade minds! These poems conclude our personal struggles, ups and downs, and friendships (with one another and others) throughout this year. We hope you enjoy and find special meaning for yourself in these poems. May you know that you are not alone and be helped if you are having a difficult year! Also, some of these poems are to each other (there are some that form a "mini poem series," if you will, but it's not stated if they continue each other), some are to other people, and others are just... by themselves. While some of these were inspired by someone, to someone, or about someone, all of these were important to us and have a special meaning. Most were about ourselves and our personal experiences, though. May you LOVE, and STAY with your KINDred!

If you've ever felt burdened by being a sophomore in college your not alone. I'm writing these and posting them as I go along. So we can feel less alone together, in a complicated world, within a song. Please feel free to comment, critique, or ask questions. Always looking to improve!

These are a bunch of short poems I've wrote throughout High School. They won't be posted in any specific order though. Don't feel like you have to read them all but you can probably relate to at least a few of these. Enjoy <3 P.S. Most of the newer ones are the better ones.

Help Me Piece It All Together de Lindzaya

Four college kids with no idea what to do with their lives are just trying to survive college life after having some sort of trauma in their lives. Each of them came from a different high school, with no declared major yet, then met in a discussion-based writing class. Read on to see how they get to know each other and each other's stories and form unbreakable bonds. From hiding alone in their rooms struggling to cope with their trauma alone and not talking at all with each other at their table in their writing class... to spending every day and weekend together, having fun and healing as friends. TW: mentions and depictions of self-harm, suicide, bullying, homophobia, transphobia, eating disorders, violence, abuse, and mental health struggles like depression and anxiety. Please skip over this story or read with caution! Title is inspired by the song "Quarter Past Midnight" by Bastille. Most parts of this story are shorter than usual (shorter than in my other stories). I hope you guys enjoy!
