Omnië was altijd een vredig land geweest, totdat de mensen verschenen. Niemand wist waar ze vandaan kwamen en hoe ze er waren gekomen. Ze vormden dorpen die uitgroeiden tot steden en alles verliep goed, maar toen brak de oorlog aan. Toen die was afgelopen, ontstonden er vier groepen, die besloten een lange tijd uit elkaar te gaan leven om nieuwe oorlogen te voorkomen; de Bezoren, de Aren, de Gunaiken en de Midanen. Door bepaalde gassen die tijdens de oorlog vrij waren gekomen nam er een snelle evolutie plaats, die elke bevolkingsgroep hun eigen kracht gaf.
Zo leefden de groepen apart zonder enige ruzie of oorlog, maar nu is de tijd aangebroken dat de Gunaiken meer macht willen, en zullen ze alles proberen om die te bereiken.

In my story, no one feels SAFE, and life has a single purpose: SURVIVAL! The beginning reveals a titanic fight between two kings of nature - the King of the Dry Land and the King of the Seas. One fights in order to cross the seas and augment his territories, the other one want his turbid waters to invade the land. And because they are equally powerful, the line of war is almost always at the shore. A balance that prevents their advancement on the enemy territory. Until one day when the "Legend of the Four Sons" disrupts this balance, and the Kingdom of the Seas invades mercilessly the Kingdom of the Dry Land, breaking it into a number of islands; over time, only four pieces of land are left amidst the seas; on them - four port-towns: Isbynorr, Narzomand, Salgornu, and Zendovir. On the other hand, the Kingdom of the Dry Land sends its explorers to cross the endless seas in search of other territories. Even so, nature seems to be unfair; it has some gifts for some and almost nothing for others... Everything is an adventure, and each event, each character will enchant your eyes. This is not an Apocalypse
The world is changing, two years ago strange weather, various anomalies and strange creatures started appearing from nowhere all over the world. Some creatures were completely alien and others were familiar looking as if they'd stepped from myth and legend. What many of these creatures had in common however was their aggressive nature and predatory instinct. Things that go bump in the night, that shifting shadow in the dark alley way, the cracking branch right behind you. Nightmarish creatures now stalk the land. Monsters. That isn't the only change in a new world however, humans have also changed. Some unknown phenomenon has granted humanity access to incredible power. The very elements themselves can now be wielded by those willing to risk the dangers. Earth, wind, fire, water, suddenly magic has become possible in a modern world and there are many who are eager to develop and embrace their newfound power and help protect their fellow man from monsters. There are also many who are willing to make a profit from newfound opportunities this changing world provides. Unfortunately for our MC Jack, embracing newfound power and going out to valiantly battle monsters isn't quite as simple as most other people have it. He possesses the rare and not so sought after lightning element, considered the weakest element for certain reasons, pitied and looked down upon Jack is determined to become a successful monster hunter in a more and more dangerous world. A slow burn story with world building, dungeon delving, character progression, Litrpg elements and more. WARNING - The MC is not a Mary Sue, he is not super competent, or super powerful or super intelligent nor a paragon of virtue, just a normal guy in a not so normal situation and him growing to deal with it in his own way.

This is an OC story that takes a LOT of inspiration from plenty of other works, the biggest one I can think of right now is Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. NO this is not a spin off or Alternate universe of that story, simply me taking ideas from it and making my own story based around it. - Description - Hollow, a young man living as best as he can in the world around him is suddenly and violently ripped from his regular life. The Catastrophe, it's called, occurred spontaneously, and no one knows exactly why. What they do know, is that Earth as they know it, was almost destroyed in an instant, saved only by mysterious godly beings that appeared and fused the world with another that had almost met a similar fate. Now living in a chaotic world, Hollow and the rest of the survivors from Earth and the Otherworld must navigate through a series of seemingly endless 'Quests' to grow in strength and survive. The twist? Anamnesis, or a fancy word for Regression. Hollow received this ability by contracting with a god in the form of a sponsorship and now must figure out how to escape this chaos fueled world. How will he do it?
