Aspen is normal. Ordinary, if you would like. She's friendly, has good grades, and a loving and nurturing boyfriend.
Yet, ever since she's turned sixteen, Aspen has been having the same nightmare, over and over again. Aspen is running, but she doesn't know from who, or to where. She hears someone call out her name, but she keeps running. Gun shots fill the sky. Aspen reaches a mountain she needs to climb over to get to her destination, but she can't climb. A mysterious, unknown thing helps her over the mountain. Aspen is saved by the angel. The thing is human. But it's not. It has wings. Wings that are speckled with whites and blacks and a little bit of red. Aspen wants to call out his name, but her voice is lodged in her throat. He sends her home, forgetting to wipe her memories.
She has told no one. She doesn't understand why she has this dream, nor what it means, but she doesn't really care.
The next day at school, her dream becomes real. Again, Aspen is saved by the mysterious, yet sexy, angel.
When she goes to school the next day, pretending nothing happened, she meets the angel who saved her the night before. His name is Ase.
But . . . when Aspen falls in love with Ase and his secretive past, all hell breaks loose.
Will she look back at her past, or continue on with her future?

He finds her, and because of her dormant wolf, he thinks she's human. Soon she goes missing, because her pack members sold her to a rogue pack. Alex searches, and searches, but cannot find her. Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. He also has to take charge and become a hero for those who can't against an unwavering bully in a far-away world. My book blends fiction with reality, as the reader follows along in the life of a shy high school student who gets thrown into many situations he must overcome as he finds out who he truly is and why it is him who needs to save the world, while keeping the reader guessing every step of the way.Complete
