Alex Thompson is living through her own personal hell. The only person who makes it better, if only slightly, is her step- mom; Claire, who's more of mom then her real mother could ever be. Her dad is even worse then her mother. He's practically always gone, and when he is home, let's just say that she'd rather eat a raw dead worm . Yeah, that bad. But she's not one to back down, even when she should. Nope, she fights back. She's strong on the inside and out... Or is she? When she gets the opportunity to leave her city and find a safer place to stay where her dad won't find her, will she take the chance? Or will she stay where she is and continue to live this mess she calls life? Yeah, the answer is pretty clear. With new friends who teach her it's okay to be weak and cry it out at times. With a jealous bully and with her step-mom who supports her through out the way... Will she be able to sort out her messes and make it, or will she give up?

A story, in which a typical teenage girl falls for the school's bad boy. Except, she's not that typical and he's not that much of a bad boy. *** "If I told you that I care about you, more than anyone in your life does, would you believe me?" He asked me, his jaw clenched. I could tell he was furious. Yet somehow, I wasn't scared of him. "No" I shook my head bravely. "If I told you,'' He tried again, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath before continuing.''That you make me so fucking mad, I want to punch a fucking wall. What would you say?" He had me trapped now, my back painfully colliding with the wall behind me. I gasped at the impact, looking up into his icy grey eyes. They were cold, emotionless. As always. "Do it!" I dared him with the last ounce of courage I had left in me. The sound of his fist smashing through the wall right next to my head, made my ears ring for a brief moment. I opened my mouth to speak again, shaking slightly, only for him to pull away and leave me standing there alone. ____ !!Warning!!
