QUICK NOTE: I am aware that Mulder and Scully are the one of the best TV duos ever, but for the purpose of this story, Dana Scully is a nonexistent character. The main character is Sydney Watson, a rookie cop who gets swept up in a federal case when Agent Fox Mulder brings the X Files to New York.

A week of torture, pain, and constant fear. A week of constantly expecting Scully to kick the door down and save him. A week that destroys Fox Mulder's mind. Mulder thinks that he can handle it, but it soon becomes evident that he can't. And the worst part? Meanwhile, psychos come out of the dark, such as Mickey and Mallory, Freedomland, and the Joker Is Forever Clan. Also, Special Agent Fox Mulder investigates the Freedomland group, to see why people from the past keep popping up in the present. Read to find out the end results.
