Letting Love In

Big brown eyes stared back at me as I looked at my baby girl. She looked just like her daddy but had my eyes and lips. Her hair was soft and curly like mine but she had her dad's hair color. Tears swelled in my eyes as her little hand reached out to touch my cheek.

"She's beautiful," I whispered as I cradled my baby girl to my chest.

"Just like her mam," said a very familiar voice. I looked up in shock as I stared at my ex-boyfriend and the father of my child. What is he doing here, I thought as I blacked out into a sea of darkness.
